This session will briefly introduce key concepts of achieving Next Generation 9-1-
- Key attributes of NG9-1-1 will be identified as well as benefits and challenges, including the need for new workforce skills. Facts about NG9-1-1 will be presented and myths dispelled. Attendees will leave with a better understanding about what NG9-1-1 means and how it will impact the 9-1-1 workforce.

- Identify seven components necessary to achieve NG9-1-1
- Describe how the 9-1-1 workforce may change as ECCs make the transition to NG9-1-1
