Hurricane Helene is by far the largest incident for NJTI / TERT resourse reqeusts. This presentation will go over the incident, how the response progressed, who responded and how we sustained teams. We will review the struggles during the deployments and what role NJTI played during the incident.

- Understand what TERT is and how NJTI plays a intricate role with TERT teams across the Country.
- Participants will understand that TERT membership is not for everyone. They will understand what really goes on and what to expect during a deployment.
- Participants will have a clear picture of what TERT is, the training that is needed and how to get involved. They will also learn how to start a term if theri state doesnt have one.
